Season Final Tournament Qualifiers

The Season Final Tournament is upon us!  The tournament is scheduled for Saturday, January 7th at the Doubletree in Roswell starting at 3:30pm.  The list of qualifiers and their chip stacks are below.  Congratulations to all that made it.  And good luck to everyone as we start the new season tonight!

Just a quick Reminder about the Season Final Tournament.

Date/Time: Saturday, October 15th 3:30pm *
Who: Qualifiers only (See www.posh-poker.com for qualifiers list)
Location: The Tilted Kilt Roswell (Holcomb Bridge Rd).

Prizes will be announced at Registration. Good luck to everyone, see you tomorrow!

* No one will be accepted after 4:30pm

Going all in pre-flop

It seems lately I’ve had many discussion about the wisdom of going all in pre-flop. There are of-course time when it is the right thing to do… and obviously times when it’s absolutely the wrong thing to do. As with all things in poker, there are gray areas where “it depends” on a lot of different factors. My recent discussions center on my take that I think the use of the pre-flop all in is overused, and detrimental to your survival in a tournament.
