Final Tournament Chip Counts

Here is the list of qualifiers for the final tournament and the starting chip counts. A total of 69 players made it, so congratulations to you all, and good luck!

Tournament is this Sunday (Nov, 7), 1:30pm at Mazzy’s in Norcross. Please be early so positions can be assigned, and chip stacks given out. There will be an extra chip given for early arrival, it will be the only bonus possible.

End of Season Points Updated

We’ve completed the season (and will start the new Season this Tuesday). Points have been updated! Jeff will post the final table qualifiers and starting chips stacks soon, so stay tuned. If you make top 30 on any given night you are in the tournament, so go take a look.

New Poker Game Tonight!

Happy hump day to all! We are excited to bring you another new venue for competitive poker play tonight at the Doubletree lobby café, located at 1075 Holcomb Bridge Rd, right up the hill behind Tony’s Roswell! On hand will be a specially priced and prepared ‘players’ menu with the likes of “Quads Quesadillas, Royal Flush Margarita Pizza, our very own Posh Poker All American Burger and many others! You will also enjoy full bar which includes pitchers & pints of Yuengling, Fat Tire, Red Brick Ale, and Bud Light. Prizes still go 1st-3rd place, and the winner gets a free nights’ stay at the hotel!! Bonus chip if you arrive by 7:45, and the passcode is EASTWOOD. New Poker Venue for Wednesdays

Greetings Posh Poker people!! I want to start this newsletter by thanking you for the best attendance ever for our final tournament this past Sunday, and also to congratulate the top three finishers

Gordon Snider, Doug Beam, and new champion Jerry McEntire! They outlasted the all-star field of 42 to finish in the money.

As you all probably know, our Tony’s schedule has just changed from Wednesdays at 8pm to Sundays at 5pm beginning this week! Points from last Wed. will transfer to the Sunday game moving forward.

In an effort to provide consistent variety and host as many tournaments as possible in our area, it is my pleasure to announce we will begin a Wednesday 8pm tournament at Roswell’s own Veranda Greek Taverna, which is located at 11235 Alpharetta Highway (right past Andretti Speedway and across the street). This venue has it’s own poker room off to the side of the bar, the atmosphere is warm and inviting, with attentive and friendly servers. In addition, the food is rated excellent all over the web! Besides the normal $30/$20/$10 gift certificates, we will also begin this week by giving $100 to the 1st place finisher!! So RSVP and come see us on Wednesday at the Taverna! Sign up by 7:45 and you get an extra 5K chip!!! I look forward to playing each of you in this new venue!
